Turning The Tide

Water / Wages

I stand alone,
Against the rain,
Fighting the elements,
Yielding to the pain.

Dulling my senses,
Twisting my fate,
Draining my hope,
And taking the bait.

A solitary stance,
Against the tide,
Becomes a stronger force,
We stand side by side.

Fire / Funding

A silent few,
Fighting the flame,
Are growing in strength,
And pointing the blame.

Earth / Economy

But bitterness grows
Spreading the land,
So divided they fall,
And united we stand.

Wind / War

Occupy here, occupy there,
In each and every town,
The wind gathers strength, at remarkable pace,
Enough to blow the house down.
